So your hoverboard won't turn off huh? It's making beeping noises that doesn't stop and its driving you wild right? This, luckily, is a fixable problem. There are a few steps that you will want to take right away to save your hoverboard that doesn't shut off though.
How to Stop a Hoverboard From Beeping
When a hoverboard reset won't work we get to have some fun. Well, some of us at least (we just love fixing hoverboards so much!). The good news is that when a hoverboard won't balance its usually a fairly straightforward fix.
What You'll Need:
Philips Head Screwdriver
Instructions
- Flip the hoverboard over, locate side with the charging port.
- Using the Philips head screwdriver, unscrew the opposite side's bottom plastic cover.
- You will see a large battery pack (usually blue, silver, or black).
- Locate the wires coming from the pack and disconnect the yellowish orange clip.
- Unplugging the hoverboard battery will stop the hoverboard from beeping.
How to Fix a Hoverboard That Doesn't Turn Off
Now that you've stopped the beeping sound, you need to know how to fix a hoverboard that won't stop beeping.
The first thing is to practice safety, and our #1 tip is to never plug the battery back in where you just disconnected it from. Your hoverboard has a faulty motherboard, and an internal circuit error is causing it the hoverboard to stay on and not turn off.
