Labor for Repair or Installation
The following charges are for our time and labor involved in repairing a broken hoverboard. These hoverboard repair fees are for our time and expertise only, and do not include the cost of parts. Customers are always welcome to purchase their own parts and have us do the installation and repair.
This fee is for the diagnosis of a broken hoverboard. The diagnosis fee is payment for our time and expertise related to diagnosing a hoverboard that is not working. We charge this fee when we need to take the bottom of your hoverboard off, or provide any other form of diagnosis to repair your broken hoverboard.
This is our general fee for installing a hoverboard shell. If your hoverboard is extremely dirty, or there are other unforeseen problems, we reserve the right to charge up to an additional $100.
Charger Port / Power Button Repair
This fee is for labor involved in removing and installing a charger port and/or a power button on the hoverboard. Contrary to popular belief, there are many different sized pins and sockets involved in switching out either of these parts on a hoverboard.
This fee is for the adjustment of a loose or wobbly motor. The motor adjustment adjustment fee is payment for our time and expertise related to adjusting a loose motor on a hoverboard, as well as any miscellaneous parts that are involved in the repair process, such as new motor mounts, bolts, and sticky pads underneath the motor mounts to help keep it in place.
Foot Pad Sensor Repair
This fee is for the adjustment of a malfunctioning foot pad and/or sensors. The foot pad adjustment fee is payment for our time and expertise related to adjusting a sticky foot pad on a hoverboard, as well as any miscellaneous parts that are involved in the repair process, such as new foot pads, plastics, and sensors underneath the foot pads.
